Angels Landing ("Пристань ангелов"), ранее известная как Храм Эола, представляет собой скальное образование высотой 1488 футов в Zion National Park на юго-западе штата Юта, США. Знаменитая тропа, прорубленная в твердой скале в 1926 году, ведет к вершине Angels Landing, откуда открывается панорамный вид на каньон Zion.
Любой человек в среднем физическом состоянии может совершить этот небесный поход, но он может быть психически сложным с его крутизной (в прямом и переносном виде) и явной возможностью падения. Есть цепи, врезанные болтами в скалу, чтобы обеспечить надежные опоры для рук на последнем участке, но люди, которые сильно боятся высоты, не должны пытаться сделать это восхождение. Этот экстрим опасен и не для слабонервных!!!

Angels Landing is one of the most popular destinations in Zion National Park. Many who go there want to experience untamed adventure and get a classic photograph. Its' now famous name descends from Methodist minister Frederick Vining Fisher who, on his first visit to Zion Canyon in 1916 allegedly quipped only an angel could land there.
The hike is strenuous, and your safety is your responsibility. We have some tips to help reduce the risks you take and ensure you have an enjoyable hike.
Anyone in an average physical condition can make this heavenward trek, but it can be mentally challenging with its steep switchbacks and sheer drop-offs. There are chains bolted into the cliff to provide secure handholds on the final stretch, but people who have a severe fear of heights should not attempt this section. They’ll have to settle for stopping at Scout Lookout and enjoying the unforgettable, life-changing view from there instead. Sigh.
