Jay 'Sinatraa' Won was one of the biggest stars in Overwatch, but he walked away from it all.
A prodigy talent, Sinatraa was signed to one of the biggest contracts in the Overwatch League before he was even old enough to compete in it. The San Francisco Shock's gamble cost them any hope of being a real threat in Season One - but it paid off big in Season Two, when they became the champions of the league.
That success was in no small part due to Sinatraa's contributions to the team. Not only was he a master of DPS, but he also had the versatility to flex into heroes like Zarya when needed. He was the star at the center of the team, and was duly awarded the MVP trophy to go with their Season Two victory.
He didn't stop there, however. At the end of 2019, Sinatraa helped take the USA to Overwatch World Cup glory, denying three-time champions South Korea for the very first time.
By the end of his first full year competing in the Overwatch League, Sinatraa was arguably it's biggest star. Nobody could predicted that before the end of the following season, he'd have walked away from the game entirely to compete in Valorant, the new tactical FPS from Riot Games.
This is the story of Sinatraa, the Overwatch genius who quit at the top.
