When the police arrived, Depape was thrashing Paul Pelosi with a hammer before being arrested by the police. Speaker Pelosi, who was in Washington at the time of the attack, arrived in San Francisco late Friday and went straight to the hospital where her 82-year-old husband is being treated for injuries. Paul Pelosi underwent surgery to repair a skull fracture and serious injuries to his right arm and hands, AP reported. His doctors expect a full recovery
