War memorial is rededicated in Dover as the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal officially begins

Today marks 100 years to the day that the South Eastern and Chatham Railway War Memorial was first unveiled following the end of World War I.

In a special ceremony at the Port of Dover, the memorial has been rededicated by the train operator Southeastern, as it pledges to support the armed forces throughout its business
