Government assured of full cooperation from Singtel

The government has been assured of full co-operation from Optus' parent company Singtel over last month's massive data breach. Millions of current and former Optus customers had their details including Medicare numbers and driver's licences numbers exposed in the breach. Prime minister Anthony Albanese has raised the issue with his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong during talks in Canberra.
