WHO's Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus says that the Covid-19 'pandemic is not over' but the 'end is in sight', adding that 'we're just beginning to glimpse the light at the end of that tunnel, but it's still a long way off and the tunnel is still dark'. The World Health Organization head added that the recent monkeypox trends was 'encouraging' but like Covid-19, countries mustn't assume the trends will continue and keep 'doing what works'.
