Sensex soars over 450 pts, Nifty above 18,000; Vedanta picks Gujarat to set up semiconductor plant; more

The Sensex rallied 455 points and the Nifty rose more than 133 points to close above the key 18,000-mark as foreign institutional investors continued to be bullish on the domestic market.
