Alice Springs locals say no to new pokie machines in town

Sydney-based developer Iris Capital is facing backlash over plans to install dozens of new poker machines in Alice Springs pubs and hotels. Campaigners say the town is at a crossroads and allowing more pokies will disproportionately affect some of the region's most vulnerable residents.
