Amid China’s continuous security threats, President of Taiwan Tsai Ing-wen on August 03 said that the country will not breakdown and will firmly uphold its national sovereignty.

“Facing deliberatively heightened military threats, Taiwan will not break down, we will firmly uphold our national sovereignty and will continue to hold the line of defence for democracy. At the same time, we wish to cooperate with all democracies around the world to jointly safeguard democratic values. We will do whatever it takes to strengthen our self-defence capabilities,” said President of Taiwan.
