00:00I'll show you how to DIY a planter out of 2x2s and pavers. First cut 8 strips at 12
00:07inches and 4 strips at 16 inches. Sand and stain to the color of your choice. Lay a paver
00:11down and form a U around the paver with two 16 inch strips and one 12 inch strip. Pre-drill
00:15and screw together. Repeat the process for one other side. Once both sides are built,
00:20stand 4 pavers upright. Add flex glue to 3 sides of each paver. Now you can adhere the
00:242x2 walls. To make the bottom, take the remaining 12 inch strips and lay 2 vertically and 4
00:29horizontally evenly spaced inside. Screw all pieces together. Squeeze the pavers together
00:33to form a box and place the built bottom on top. Be sure to let the flex glue dry for
00:37a full 24 hours. I used tie downs as clamps while drying. You can use wood filler to cover
00:42the screws, seal the corners of the planter with some clear flex shot, and to protect
00:46the planter from the outside elements, brush on some clear flex seal liquid. I cannot wait
00:51to get this planter outside once spring fully hits. For now, it's inside with some faux
00:54flowers.
