Amid the reports of Arpita Mukherjee’s accident that took place on July 24, her advocate, Niladri Bhattacharya, on July 25 demanded for her security and raised concerns pertaining the incident in Kolkata. “My client has been in ED custody for the past four days. I've drawn the attention of the Court to the fact that there has been no development in the case. The ED remains silent on the remand application, and in oral arguments,” the advocate said. “In light of the accident yesterday, I have raised concerns about the security of my client. Who takes responsibility if any untoward incident occurs?” he added.
