Five-hour delays at the Port of Dover brings traffic to a stand-still again

Motorists attempting to cross the English Channel today have been waiting in queues for more than five hours at the Port of Dover.

A critical incident was declared this morning, due to gridlocked roads leading into the port, and congestion extending throughout the town.
