Police search locations near Spalding as part of investigation into suspected murder of Robert Atkins

Police are hoping dozens of bullets found dumped on a riverbank near Clare could help them arrest those responsible for the murders of three men linked to the southern suburbs drug trade. Major Crime detectives believe the gun used to murder one of the men, Robert Atkins, was thrown into a river near Spalding in the state's mid north last month.
