'Agniveers' to get hardship, travel and uniform allowance

After the horrifying protest, the Centre has announced several incentives to pacify agitators. Along with the salary, recruits will receive Hardship Allowance, Uniform Allowance, Canteen Facility and Medical Facility, just like a regular soldier. Travel allowance will also be available. There will be 30 days leave in a year. Medical leaves are additional. In case of death during service (four years), then the insurance cover will be available. The family will get about Rs 1 crore.
