Kinder kids in Victoria and New South Wales to get extra year of education

Kinder will be made free for all three and four year old children from next year, as part of a multi-billion dollar shake up to the state's early childhood learning system. Victoria and New South Wales have joined forces to announce the big reforms which will include a new-year of pre-prep for children to replace kinder before they start school. The government says it will save families thousands of dollars a year on childcare and help more women return to the workforce.
