Shane Fitzsimmons defends Resilience NSW response

The head of resilience New South Wales has faced a parliamentary inquiry into this year's deadly floods. The agency was created to lead the state government's disaster and emergency efforts, but it has been criticised for its response to the flood emergency earlier this year. The state secretary of the fire brigade employees' union has called for the agency should be killed off.
