Leaders of the QUAD member nations are in Tokyo for the summit and among the many decisions taken at the Tokyo Summit, the leaders have agreed to launch a maritime security initiative. This initiative is expected to allow the member countries to monitor illegal fishing, track "dark shipping" and other tactical-level activities in the Indo-Pacific region.
