Florida wildlife officials were able to reunite a baby cub with its mother after it was discovered alone back in March 2022. The officials first placed the cub in a cage and waited for the mother to find it. Once she did, and began ‘immediately show[ing] maternal behavior towards the kitten,’ the cub was let out of the cage and the pair headed off together.
