A Lingayat seer accused the Karnataka government of indulging in corruption. Dingaleshwara Swami, a seer from Gadag said the government takes a 30% commission before releasing grants meant for mutts. Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai reacted to his comments saying the government takes his allegations seriously and will inquire into it.
