COVID-19 is more prevalent in the community now than it's ever been. If Tasmania if we were a country we could be ranked at least fourth highest in the world.

According to Public Health, Tasmania has one of the highest rates of Covid-19 cases per capita in Australia. After reporting 2 thousand 408 new infections, there are 12 thousand 720 active cases in the state. Nearly one in five Tasmanians have been infected with covid, have been put at risk with long covid and serious long term health complications.
