Concerns pandemic companions may not have met needs

During the COVID lockdowns, many people welcomed a dog into their lives for companionship. But now that we're returning to the office and our social lives, there are concerns that these pandemic dogs will be neglected and may even end up back in shelters. Taking on a pet is a big decision and veterinarian Dr Rob Zammit says people tend to bite off more than they can chew when it comes to taking care of their furry friend.
