Taliban government in Afghanistan has been working hard to find ways to financially exploit the natural resources including, iron, copper, lithium, rare earth elements, cobalt, bauxite, mercury, uranium and chromium in the country. Some estimates says that the natural mineral in the country is somewhere worth more than 2 trillion dollars. Shahabuddin Dilawar, Minister of Minerals has expressed his preference to cooperae with American companies instead of Chinese ones. Asad Mirza, senior journalist describes the issue in details.
