$4 million to fund forced adoption redress scheme

The Victorian Government will spend a 4 million dollars to establish a dedicated redress scheme for survivors of forced adoption. 500 thousand dollars will go towards a hardship fund to provide immediate payment to women who had their babies removed between 1958 and 1984.
