On March 7, the last phase of voting ended in Uttar Pradesh. And now, the exit polls for the five states- Punjab, UP, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa are out. Several exit polls predicted a big win for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab. India Today-Axis My India predicted up to 76-90 seats in the 117-member state assembly. The exit polls give AAP 63 seats, with the majority mark at 59, reported NDTV. And if AAP gets the numbers as predicted in the exit polls, this will be the first state where the party will have full power. In Delhi, where AAP has been in power since 2015, is partly under the central government. Congress, the ruling party in Punjab, is all set to finish second with 28 seats, as per the polls. As per the polls, the BJP will not be a big player in Punjab. Counting of votes will take place on March 10. Watch the video to know more.
