For the Makar Sankranthi festival celebrated in January, the Hindu Temple of Kern County collected canned food donations and money, all to help the Mission at Kern County. Officials from the temple say they wanted to help those in need in our community, and also donated over $2,000 to help the Mission get supplies needed to help.
