The discovery of the ancient village buried under Sand in Saudi
A team of some people who desire to close the Sailor in the eyes of Saudi Arabia, has discovered a village of Islam's early days in the city of Islam. Abdul Aziziz Audkhal, head of this project, his team visited the area of this area in the search of Al-Ashira.
"After recording the presence of the area from above, the team discovered a settlement buried in the sand," he told Arab News.
Al-Ashira is said to be the place where the first war of Islam took place and where the Prophet of Islam and his companions stayed for more than a month.
The team is called the Earth Aerial Photography Team, which was founded in 2015.
It is a non-profit national documentary under which Saudi Arabia is being captured on camera from the sky.
The team has 13 members who have different skills. They include photographers, pilots, guides and historians who want to capture videos of different parts of the country with the help of a powered parachute plane.
When the team began searching for Al-Ashira, they did so following the research of Abdullah Al-Ayashi, one of the team's historians, who suggested a different location instead of the generally accepted location. The team started searching for different places in the country with the help of satellite images and images taken from above.
According to the head of the team, "After wandering in the air for 75 minutes, the team found a ruined village which is believed to be Al-Ashira village which is also mentioned in the biography of the Prophet of Islam."
