Artists find residence and inspiration in Newcastle lighthouse

The city of Newcastle's most prominent landmark, Nobby's lighthouse, has been transformed into a destination to showcase creative industries. Potters, painters, poets and more have taken up residence in the former seafarers cottages at Nobby's headland, as part of a city-wide response to the pandemic, which saw the creative sector's turnover slashed by 20 per cent.
