King Fahd noted that according to the protocol of the British royal palace, the seat of the Crown Prince of Japan was placed after him. Seeing this, he was not relieved, and he honored the status of the Japanese Crown Prince by giving him a seat before his seat. The Japanese royal family recorded this historic position on the relations between the two countries. It was decided that whenever the Japanese Crown Prince visited a foreign country, he would first go to Saudi Arabia. Since then, every Crown Prince of Japan has adhered to this tradition of his family. It may be recalled that official relations between Japan and the Kingdom began in 1938. The Saudi Kingdom is one of the first countries to support and vote for Japan. On the issue of UN membership, Saudia supported Japan and presented to him.
