BJD's strength in Takra Gram Panchayat, BJP's many leaders join party

Dasapalla: 07/01/2021: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today held a workers' conference and amalgamation party in the Dashpalla block of Takra gram panchayat for the upcoming 2022 gram panchayat elections in compliance with the Kovid rule. The meeting was attended by hundreds of BJD workers, including Dasapalla MLA and Nayagarh District Biju Janata Dal President Shri Ramesh Chandra Behera, Dasapalla Block Chairman Sunanda Sahu and former Dashpalla Block Chairman Upendra Kumar Sahu, Dashpalla Block Vice President and Biju Janata Dal General Secretary of Nayagarh District. Many members of the media, including Pratima Naikong, a member of the committee, attended. Many Tung BJD workers joined the party today, removing all tensions. They are Sarvashree, Jagbandhu Acharya, Lasmidhar Muduli, Navkishore Jani, Navkishore Malik, Prasanna Kumar Jani, Sukant Kumar Jani. MLA Shri Behera has declared Jagbandhu Acharya, a new activist in the newly-joined Biju Janata Dal, as the Sarpanch candidate backed by the Biju Janata Dal, and has also announced Dhaneshwar Jani for the post of Takra Gram Panchayat Samiti member. Hundreds of BJP workers also supported Mr Behera's announcement. It is learned that although Jagbandhu Acharya was not in the post before, he was well-known in the panchayat as a front-line youth social worker. After declaring Mr. Acharya a candidate on behalf of the Biju Janata Dal, Mr. Acharya said, "Just as I used to stand in front of everyone with happiness and sorrow, the same trend will continue. Finally, Mr. Acharya thanked Mr. Dasapalla MLA Shri Behera and Pradeep Kumar Sahu. Niranjan Raul thanked Banerjee Naik Kang and all the BJP workers.
