An exalted devotee of the Lord never thinks he is an exalted devotee. He always remains a humble servant of the Lord, tolerating all reverses as reactions to his past sins. He never accuses the Lord of punishing him unjustly, but always regards his sufferings as mercifully minimized by the Lord. Thus the exalted devotee is never angry with the Lord but rather remains blissfully content to be serving Sri Krishna in all circumstances and continues performing his duty in devotional service.
