'Aerial footage taken by Restu Puji Fadlilah shows the distressing scenes following a fatal eruption of the highest volcano on Java island (Indonesia), Mount Semeru.
Included in this heart-wrenching video are shots of the damaged houses, ash-covered land and trees, and more.
"This video highlights the impact of the eruption of Mount Semeru," the filmer told us. "About 11, if not more, villages in Lumajang (East Java) were cloaked in volcanic ash."
It has been reported that the said incident has killed more than 40 people and injured over 50.
These clips were captured on December 5, 2021, a day after the disaster.
