Real renunciation means that one should always think that because he is part and parcel of the Supreme Lord, he should not try to enjoy the results of his work but must offer them to the Lord for His enjoyment. Such a pure devotee becomes accustomed to not taking pleasure in anything beyond the transcendental happiness derived from serving the Lord. This is actually Krishna consciousness.
