Sonia objects ‘misogynistic’ reading comprehension passage in CBSE’s paper

In the Lok Sabha, Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi on December 13, raised objection to a misogynistic passage in the reading comprehension section of the English question paper in the Class X CBSE exam.
While raising the issue, she said, “I urge the Ministry of Education and the CBSE to immediately issue an apology and conduct a thorough review into this lapse to ensure this is never repeated again.”
