Maidstone in danger of losing a vital rail service

Maidstone might lose their high-speed rail service following an announcement from Southeastern, despite a campaign by thousands to save the route.

The link between Maidstone East and St Pancras could be axed, becoming a central issue at the Kent County Council Rail Summit last night.
