Bosses say Maidstone East's high speed link could be axed despite campaign

Maidstone could soon lose a high speed rail service between Maidstone East and St Pancras despite a campaign by thousands to save the route.

Southeastern are threatening to cut the link and chiefs talked about the issue at the annual Rail Summit before KCC last night.
