School set to be build on land earmarked for graveyard

A school is set to be built on land set aside for a graveyard in Medway.

Councillors gave the plans the go ahead at a meeting yesterday evening after the space neighbouring Woodland Cemetery in Gillingham was put forward.

It comes as the local authority is under growing pressure to find new school places in the area.
