Medway is officially in the running for UK's City of Culture

The UK's City of Culture competition has officially launched and Medway is in the running.

The Towns are aiming to be the first area in the south east to win the prestigious title others.

Previous winners Hull saw a £90m boost to their economy as a result, and those behind Medway's bid hope they can create a lasting legacy if they're successful.
