Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte is elected chairperson of Lakas-CMD that will also field her as its vice presidential candidate in the 2022 national elections. Her election was conducted in a zoom conference presided over by Lakas-CMD president and House Majority Leader Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.
