The Celtics depth problems were apparent in the 91-89 loss against the Cavaliers. The bench lineup surrendered most of thee 19 point lead through the end of the third and start of the fourth quarter, while only scoring 15 points on 5-20 shooting through the whole game.

Given Boston was without Jaylen Brown, Al Horford, and Josh Richardson for the game, so a lot was depending on the young guys Payton Pritchard, Aaron Nesmith, and Romeo Langford. All three players were not much of a factor, leaving the Garden Report to question how come Celtics Young Talent Is Taking A Hit?
