Chennai likely to experience more than 200 mm of rain over next two days: GCC Commissioner

Greater Chennai Corporation Commissioner, Gagandeep S Bedi on November 10 said that there is an expectation of more than 200 mm of rain in and around the Chennai areas over next 2 days.
He said, "We're expecting more than 200 mm of rain in and around the Chennai areas over next 2 days". While talking about the preparations, Bedi said, "We have mobilised additional pumps in low-lying areas and put 46 boats across various parts of the city in case if flood-like situation arises. Food is being given to 2.5 lakh people. We've set up 200 medical camps.”
