#Communalviolence in Delhi late last month left over 50 people dead and several hundred injured.
The immediate spark for the violence was allegedly a speech by BJP leader #KapilMishra. Mustafabad, Karawal Nagar, Chand Bagh, Shiv Vihar, and Jaffrabad were among the localities worst affected by the violence.
Facing criticism for watching the carnage from the sidelines, Delhi’s #AAP government announced a slew of measures to help the victims. They opened nine shelter homes and are providing medical aid and monetary compensation.
