Taking a firm stand against the proliferation of fake news, Senator Manny Pacquiao files a P100-million libel and cyberlibel case against Pastor Apollo Quiboloy at the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office on Sept. 14, 2021. Quiboloy alleged that Pacquiao mismanaged the funds used in the construction of a gym in Sarangani, which he described as 'white elephant'.
