Call for action as threat of violence against Hazara people grows under Taliban

Against the backdrop of tensions in Afghanistan, members of the ethnic Hazara minority are stepping up calls for the Australian government to grant family visas. The community has been systematically discriminated against in their homeland for more than a century, and further threats of violence are fuelling anxieties here.
