Head of the insurgent group's leadership council, Mullah Hasan Akhund will head the new Taliban government in Afghanistan. The announcement was made by Taliban spokesperson Habiullah Mujahid in a press conference in Kabul on Tuesday. Mujahid also announced that Mullah Baradar will serve as a deputy to Mullah Akhund.
