Taliban deployed on every turn leading to Kabul airport

Following the takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban, thousands of Afghans and foreign nationals are scrambling to flee the country. With land border crossings closed, the Kabul airport has become the only way out of the country for many people. As citizens become desperate to escape Taliban rule, scenes outside the Kabul airport have become increasingly chaotic. While over 4,000 US troops are in temporary control inside the walls of the airport compound, heavily armed Taliban fighters patrol the perimeter outside the airport compound. Watch this video.
