Union Minister Narayan Rane was taken into custody by the Maharashtra Police on Tuesday. Narayan Rane was on the state government's target ever since he made a controversial statement about Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Narayan Rane was detained from Chiplun, according to the police. The police took Narayan Rane to the Sangameshwar police station in Ratnagiri district. He was made to sit in his own car. Four FIRs have been registered against Narayan Rane so far, while his anticipatory bail plea has been rejected by Ratnagiri Court. At the same time, the Bombay High Court also refused to hear the appeal of Narayan Rane.
