Psaki tells reporter it’s IRRESPONSIBLE to say Americans are stranded in Afghanistan

White House spox Jen Psaki actually told Fox News reporter Peter Doocy that it’s irresponsible for him to suggest Americans are stranded in Afghanistan right now:

Doocy wondered whether Biden knows "most of the criticism is not of leaving Afghanistan, it’s the way that he has warranted it to happen, by pulling the troops before getting out the Americans who are now stranded."

Psaki: "It’s irresponsible to say Americans are stranded."

Here we go again with ‘we’re going to rescue any American that wants to be rescued’ garbage. Why is Team Biden so insistent on saying they are only going to bring Americans home who ‘want’ to come home? It honestly feels like they are caveating this so they can claim that anyone they leave behind didn’t want to come home or something.

Also, how can she say that Americans are not stranded when Biden won’t even allow American forces to leave the airport to bring Americans to safety??

Doocy then followed up, asking if Psaki is saying there are no Americans actually stranded:

Doocy: "'There are no Americans stranded' is the White House's official position on what is happening in Afghanistan right now?"

Psaki: "I’m just calling you out for saying we are stranding Americans in Afghanistan when...we have been very clear" they're not left behind.

But Psaki backs away from it, saying she was just calling Doocy out or something. Right, uh huh.

Doocy ended with this one:

DOOCY SMASH: "The President likes to say 'America is back.' But his policies have Americans getting beat up by the Taliban and Afghans handing babies over barbed wire fences. Is that what he meant when he said, 'America is back?'"

Ouch! I’d say that’s a harsh question, but it is absolutely the reality on the ground. This is Biden’s America.
