'A romantic tale spanning 9 years was capped off by a beautiful wedding proposal in Cancun, Mexico on June 3, 2021.

In this wholesome video, Jazmin Elizondo gets proposed to by her boyfriend of 9 years, Jorge. She said: "I'd been waiting for this moment for years, but never did I expect it would actually happen."

The bride-to-be also explained how this memorable moment came to be: "My family, Jorge, and I decided to go to Cancun in March and booked the vacation for June. Apparently, he had been planning the proposal since April. I had no clue!"

She added: "We were taking pictures at the pier. When I walked up with Jorge, we began taking pictures, and then he decided to switch sides. I thought we were still taking pictures and then he pops out the ring."

"He was so nervous, I think he forgot to get on one knee but this was a moment I had been waiting for so long that I wanted it to be how I've always imagined it would be. So I pointed down, haha."

The adorable couple is all set to get married on June 3, 2022, exactly one year after this delightful proposal.
