Alexander Zverev beats Karen Khachanov to win Tokyo Olympic 2020 | Oneindia Sports

Alexander Zverev has won the men's tennis gold medal for Germany, beating Karen Khachanov 6-3, 6-1 at the Ariake Tennis Centre in Tokyo. It was not much of a contest for the impressive world number five, who earned his spot here by shocking favourite Novak Djokovic in Friday's semi-final. Russian Olympic Committee member Khachanov was never really in this final. He was broken in his second service game of the match.


Germany के युवा टेनिस स्टार Alexander Zverev ने Tokyo Olympics 2020 में पुरुषों के सिंगल्स का खिताब जीत लिया है. Zverev ने फाइनल में रूसी खिलाड़ी Karen Khachanov को सीधे सेटों में 6-3, 6-1 से हराकर गोल्ड मेडल अपने नाम किया. 24 सालके Zverev के करियर का ये सबसे बड़ा खिताब है. इसके साथ ही Zverev ने वो करिश्मा कर दिखाया, जो महान जर्मन स्टार बोरिसबेकर भी नहीं कर सके. Zverev ओलिंपिक में पुरुषों के सिंगल्स का गोल्ड मेडल जीतने वाले जर्मनी के पहले खिलाड़ी बन गए हैं. खाचानोव ने इस सिंगल्स का सिल्वर मेडल अपने नाम किया, जबकि ब्रॉन्ज मेडल स्पेन के Pablo Busta को मिला.
