School to remain open

Schools will remain open at full capacity despite the surge in COVID-19 cases. This is despite some calls to shut schools down. Minister Angie Motshekga believes while about 100 schools have been affected by positive cases, over 25,00 remain unaffected and stable. Equal Education welcomes the decision to keep schools open.
